As luck would have it, I was passing by Virginia City! They gave me a discount rate, so I stayed a week! Nice place. It gets busy with tourists on the weekend, but during the week, very quiet, and laid back. Nice people. FYI, there is no grocery store or anything but tourist stuff, so BYO. And the restraunts open late and close early, like 6 pm, and they are rather expensive. Continue reading

Female Fulltime RV Gets Lost in Death Valley!
Don’t call me a woman driver, it’s not like that! I just didn’t read the sign right, and they didn’t print the map right, so what’s a gal to do? Get GPS? I only went maybe 20 miles, didn’t really get lost, since I got back OK! Continue reading

Valley of Fire State Park Nevada Fulltime RV
It was too hot the first week of April, got up to 97 degrees inside the RV. Beautiful place, but also very busy with tourists from all over, and would probably be even busier during the winter season. And my dog did not like it here for some reason, beyond…
We Stayed at the Mount Shasta KOA for 2 Days, Nice!
I really want to go back to the Mount Shasta area; the KOA is a nice campground, within walking distance to town. Only downside, is the trains! The go by all night, honking their horns really loud, but the towns folk get the same treatment, so that is just the…
Turning a Corner Queen RV Bed After Xolo Digs It!
Toto apparently thought he could really bury his bone in the bed! Been meaning to flip it for a while, but as you can see, easier said than done. Seriously, RV manufacturers do stuff like drop the mattress in before they putting the roof on! Continue reading
